It is our great pleasure to welcome you as participants to our 2-day symposium

 

"15 Years of the Jena Experiment: The Past, the Present, and the Future"

 

held on February 7th - 8th 2017 at the Volksbad, Jena, Germany.

 

 

In the scientific symposium, we want to celebrate 15 Years of the Jena Experiment by presenting the

findings of past research and the plans for near future research in the Jena Experiment. 

 

Additionally, poster presentations  about your current research or your plans are very welcome. Therefore, you can submit an abstract during the registration process. 

 

 

 

Getting there

 

By plane:

The nearest international airport is in Frankfurt am Main. Take the train to Jena-West (about 3 h) and bus no. 15 to the city center. Walk towards "Paradies Bahnhof". The Volksbad is opposite the train station.

Another airport is Berlin Tegel. Take the train to Jena-Paradies (about 3 h). The Volksbad is opposite the train station.

A smaller airpot nearby is Leipzig/Halle. Take the train to Jena-Paradies (about 1.5 h). The Volksbad is opposite the train station.

 

By train (Deutsche Bahn):

Jena is connected to all major cities in Germany via the railway network.

Jena Paradies train station: North-South connection. The Volksbad is opposite the train station.

Jena West train station: East-West connection. Take bus no. 15 to the city center (public transportation in Jena). Walk towards "Paradies Bahnhof". The Volksbad is opposite the train station.

 

By car:
Jena is near the intersection of two major highways: highway A4 (Dresden-Eisenach-Frankfurt/M.) and highway A9 (Rostock-Berlin-München). Leave the highway A4 at exit Jena-Lobeda and follow the signs to "Zentrum" and "Paradies Bahnhof". The Volksbad is opposite the train station.
